BOATING PROJECT:

This project is implemented in association with the Rotarians of Netherlands & WILDE Ganzen of Netherlands. Based on the guidelines given by the donors we have made an advance of Rs. 300,000.00 for the construction for 8 catamarans and 3 kattudal boats. The Donors have already sent Rs 1.7 Mn for this project. This project is handled with the participation of the priest in charge of the Negombo Grand Street Church. All boats will be registered under the name of the church.

Recently a meeting was held with the Priest in charge, Officials of the Fisheries Corporation Regional Office - Negombo, Mr. Ravi Ramsy and the recipients, photographs are attached in Annexure F this also includes images of the boats which have been completed.
